Here are some resources that are helpful for practising taekwondo when you aren’t in class, or as gradings come closer.

Basic Kicks

The following videos contains detailed advice on the technique required for some basic kicks. As with all information sources that you may find online or elsewhere, techniques may vary from what is taught in class, and this should be kept in mind. That being said, we find that these videos provide advise closest to what you can expect in our training.

Poomsae

A playlist containing videos of Poomsae demonstrations can be found here. The videos in this playlist include a ‘Step by step’ set of motions, as well as the full pattern. The patterns covered are Taegeuk 1 through to Taegeuk 8.

One-Step Sparring

The following video contains demonstrations of the eleven one-step sparring patterns. This covers all of the one-step sparring required for all gradings.

Self Defense

The following video contains demonstrations of the twelve self-defense sparring patterns. This covers all of the self-defense required for gradings.
